Testimonials From Jonel 2004 Scholarship Recipients
"I was so excited and honored when I first heard that I was selected to receive the Jonel Foundation Scholarship. I knew I wanted to become a nurse but I wasn't sure how I would pay for college. Receiving this scholarship gave me the incentive and the confidence to go after my dream. I can now concentrate on my academics and not have to worry about the cost of school. I am extremely thankful for all the Jonel Foundation has done for me. Someday I hope to be a mentor for future scholarship recipients."

"The Jonel Foundation Scholarship has had a great impact on my life. I was very honored and thankful when I found out I was selected as a recipient. Because of the Jonel Foundation Scholarship, I am one of few college students who can actually say that I don't have to worry about having any financial problems, especially now that I am a single mother. I am proud of both Ronelle and myself. We both held part-time jobs, went to school full time, and were able to earn good grades. The community service has been very gratifying. It has brought many memories and I look forward to doing more next year.

The foundation has kept in contact with me throughout the year and has answered all of my questions. I feel as first year recipients, we have set the standard for future scholarship recipients."
